Land Systems

Partnering with the Australian Army, Raytheon Australia locally adapts and manages globally proven technology to meet the needs of the Army.
By drawing upon Raytheon’s global suite of next generational battlefield communications, Integrated Solutions draws upon technology that has
proven successful in operations across the world.
With a strong record of proven performance, Raytheon Australia’s key
programs within the land systems domain include JP 2072 Phase 1 and
Land 200, for which the company manages and delivers world-class proven battlefield technology such as EPLRS (Enhanced Position Location
Reporting System) and MicroLight(TM) radios. Under JP2072 Phase 1, Raytheon Australia has delivered 150 EPLRS radios and more than 3,000 ancillary items to the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO), some 12 weeks ahead of the contracted delivery date.
Additionally, through the Raytheon Support Facility, the company delivers
local in-service support services to sustain key land initiatives, such as
providing mission support for ASLAV (Australian Light Armoured Vehicle).

Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
With 350 Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) delivered to more than 50 countries, the company draws upon Raytheon’s global pedigree as the
world’s leading provider of ATMS. By locally integrating globally proven
systems, Raytheon Australia delivers low-risk solutions.
As an authorised Engineering Organisation, the company’s local skilled workforce uses proven processes to integrate systems and provide
mission assurance on programs such as the Australian Defence Air Traffic System (ADATS).
As the incumbent supplier of ADATS, Raytheon Australia has delivered a transportable capability, secondary surveillance radars and an ATMS
automation system. ADATS is integrated into a network of critical systems, including the civil aviation system, communications systems, remote sites, runway barriers, lighting and other airfield facilities, benefiting Australia’s
military and civil aviation.
Raytheon Australia continues to provide mission support to the ADATS
program through a Follow on Support contract and has exceeded contracted
and designed reliability and availability targets throughout the duration of
this contract.

Naval Systems

By using proven processes and systems, Raytheon Australia delivers
mission assurance by creating safe, reliable and low-risk solutions with
the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Raytheon Australia’s naval solutions span undersea and above water domains, and the company
has a strong local pedigree in integrating systems and delivering in-service support for naval programs.
Having successfully integrated and delivered the Collins Class
Replacement Combat System, the company provides in-service support
for the program. Raytheon Australia also provides mission support and
training through the Retention and Motivation Initiative (RMI), within its Aerospace business unit. RMI is a innovative training solution for the
RAN that ensures recently trained junior aircrew are retained whilst
awaiting conversion to the Navy’s frontline helicopters.
Additionally, Raytheon Australia is the Hobart Class Combat System
Systems Engineer through it's role as a key member of the Alliance team
building Australia’s leading edge Air Warfare Destroyers.
